Why Buy from us
The DAC Gustard X20U XMOS Dual ESS 9018 SABRE is a digital to analog converter designed state of the art. This DAC 32bit/384kHz, has a USB input high-level class 2.0. Thanks to the precision of 0.1 ppm and to the power of the processor XMOS 500MIPS with CPLD Altera MAX II, the Gustard DAC X20U supports the liquid music in high resolution, has a low level of jitter and audio outputs completely symmetric, discrete pure Class A.
The high quality of its components such as the clock of the Sabre ESS ES9018 TCXO operating at 100MHZ, the presence of a processor in the CPLD Altera MAX THETHE with 8 MB of dedicated memory, make it a DAC that is ideal to be placed in a Hi-Fi system high. Of course, this DAC has inputs asynchronous USB with three clock separated for the correct decoding of audio streams to a DSD 64, DSD 128 to DSD 256, and flows of PCM, DXD up to 32bit 384kHz and is perfectly compatible with ASIO to a riprodizione bit-perfect on Windows systems (you must use the driver contained on the diskette included in the package).
The DAC Gustard X20 offers an input of the asynchronous digital technology, auto-adaptive and also a Master Clock which automatically obtains the clock frequency of TCXO (clock dedicated to multi-frequency).
The analog output, made of discrete components, allows the selection of adjust to three separate levels of output signal level (0 dB, 6 dB and 12 dB) with an attenuation adjustable from 0 to -99dB. The double converter Sabre Reference ESS 9018, which is present in Gustard X20, operating with 64-Bit precision allows you to control volume with direct access to the internal path of the data of the DAC with a performance exactly comparable to those of a volume control (analog, up to the achievement of the background noise generated by the analog components.
In this way, the DAC Gustard X20U turns into a real preamp so that you can connect directly to a power amplifier of stereo, or two mono, both outputs unbalanced RCA or XLR balanced outputs.
The Gustard DAC X20U has a power supply for an extremely well maintained and consists of two separate toroidal transformers, one dedicated to the management of the digital signal, and one dedicated to the management of the analog output signal. This device ensures very low levels of Jitter and electrical noise.
The control section of the power supply is based on the filter capacitors of the Rover and on a voltage regulator, LM2941, and is entirely made with discrete components.
The HDMI input format I2S of the DAC Gustard XMOS X20 is compatible with the format AudioGD.
Coaxial and BNC
Unlike the old converters-DAC 24-bit, converter the ESS Sabre 9018 is used by the Gustard X20U processes the digital signal at a resolution of 32 bits, allowing to contain the levels of noise and distortion at values significantly lower than the previous generation converters with 24-bit Delta-Sigma.
Two toroidal transformers independent, one for the analog section and one for the digital section, are supported by a generous circuit filtering of the voltage, also made with components to discrete
Section of filtration multi-stage with voltage regulator
Based on the board dedicated XMOS U8 (model ultra-high performance with 8-core independent)
